About Kimberly

I've had over 14 years of experience as a speech and language therapist and a special educator. Itinerant services was part of my daily job. I enjoy assisting individuals in an environment that is most comfortable for them. For several years, I helped my grandmother with cooking, cleaning, using the bathroom, washing, doctors appointments, and grocery shopping. Supporting her with these tasks gave me a strong sense of fulfilment, as I enjoyed knowing I was making her feel happy and secure. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away. I'm looking to support another friend in need of companionship and aid. In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning about history, sewing and painting. I retired from my job as an educator and therapist when my son was born 10 years ago. I enjoyed providing him with attention and care, however, he is now very independent. I feel a strong connection to my elders and would enjoy giving someone my time, encouragement, and assistance.
