About Kimberly

Im a retired Registered Nurse of 20 years. For the past several years I've been assisting caregivers in the home environment. I spent most of my nursing carrer on medical/surgical units. Most of that was at MUSC in Charleston. I did a few travel assignments also. I worked 3 years in the home health environment. I have experience with feeding tubes, catheters, oxygen, iv's ECT. My clients included 2 with Parkinson's so I understand the importance of taking meds on schedule and avoiding falls. Three 99y/o. And those with stroke, dementia, decreased mobility ect., and some needed assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing, and preparing meals. I am caring and passionate about my work. I understand the challenges of being homebound and of being the caregiver of a homebound loved one. I think cooking and cleaning are part of my job and don't mind at helping. Please contact me if more info is needed.
