About Kelly

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient and efficient. I've always felt a connection with the older generation. As a child, my Mom by brought me to the nursing home regularly. I volunteered with meal on wheels for many years. I realize the need for senior care, not only for the client, but for the wellbeing of the family. I'm looking for a job where I can provide companionship, run errands, accompany to Dr appts, be physically active (whatever level possible) help with and encourage participation in daily tasks. I can ensure medication is taken. My grandmother had a stroke that left her paralyzed. I spent much time tending to her needs. Two years ago, my mother became sick with cancer. The 1. 5 years she was going through treatment, I was her caregiver. In my spare time, I like to craft, walk, do yoga, be with family and friends. I feel it is very important for Seniors to tell stories of their past. Viewing photo albums and listening to old music creates so much joy!
