Hello! I gain self-esteem and personal satisfaction from knowing that the comfort and care I provide enriches the lives of the people around them. As I never received payment for my experience, I don't regret the memories I made. I would spend my Sunday's with my great-grandparents, spending time with them and being the person they needed at the time. If it was just a day of playing bored games and watching tv, to having food made and medicines ready. As they are sadly no longer with us, I would love to be the person that is needed. Caring for seniors has the added benefit of working with people who have a lifetime of experiences and knowledge to share that broaden one's perspective.
