Kathy was pleasant and kind and I hate to have to write this but if someone else had left a review of this kind I would not have hired Kathy. I hired her in March 2023. There was some slight miscommunication which we worked through, ie pay date, how to get payment (which was discussed previous to hire) and that she claimed she didn't smoke on her Care page. She does and the house smelled badly after her shift (we are not smokers and my father has COPD). Unfortunately the biggest that I could not put up with was her leaving my father while she was supposed to be on duty with him. She went to the grocery store for items for dinner. Knowing my father is a fall risk at the age of 86. This was not a smart decision and I'm thankful nothing happened but I had to let her go in April 2023.
