October 11, 2013 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing in reference to Kathy J. Ms. J. has been in my employ for the past year as a companion and 24 hour caregiver for my 84 year old mother. I was fortunate enough to have discovered her through Care.Com and, upon our first meeting, I knew she would be a great fit for this position. Kathy displays a great deal of knowledge, both medical and common sense, and confidence from previous positions and life experiences as a mother herself. She possesses a compassionate and nurturing demeanor which she readily demonstrated to my mother who suffers from dementia and sundowning. Kathy makes those around her comfortable and treats those under her care with the utmost respect. She is very reliable, has a great sense of judgment, and willing to assist above and beyond her responsibilities if needed. In the past year, my siblings and I have grown very fond of Kathy and appreciate all she has done for our mother. She has become an integral part of our family and will be missed greatly.
