My love with working for seniors started several years ago when my mother, who is now 92, started showing some decline. My mission is to improve the quality of life of the seniors that I have the privilege of sharing time with. In addition, I think elder care generally makes one more compassionate and inspires us to greater patience. It also helps to look inside for a sense of gratitude for our own lives and loved ones. I'd also like to think that I can make a difference in their lives and it will certainly give me perspective going forward. I can also learn from their experiences and who's kidding who, it can just be plain fun.
