About Karen

I began working as a caregiver before I was technically old enough to. I began helping my mother around age 15 years of age. I took care of her until I could no longer do it on my own and had to put her in a nursing home. After her passing and my children had all started school, I realized I was missing something. I missed caring for others. So, I began working as a substitute teacher at one of the school districts there, as well as a job at an assisted living facility. It is an honor to help others.
