About Kara

I became a licensed RN in 2005. I have hospital experience in Neonatal Intensive Care, outpatient experience in Pediatrics, and office experience with adult and geriatric care. I have the ability to provide quality care, think critically, and remain calm during medical emergencies. I easily serve as a liaison between the patient and their medical providers. I kindly treat every patient as if they are my own family and my nursing care is saturated with compassion and empathy. I view my nursing career as a way to serve others and I have a nurturing personality. I highly value integrity and honesty. During this season in my life, I am looking for a job that is conducive to my family's current needs. I have 2 children, who I homeschool. I am flexible with the actual hours worked. My ideal position would be in-home care for an elderly person or couple, whom I can assist with evening routines, medication administration, falls prevention and safety through the night.
