I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate and conscientious I like caring for seniors because making a difference in someone's life everyday while having them share their stories and memories of a full life is very rewarding. It feels great to help ease the physical and mental burdens associated with aging. I started caring for seniors after working 30+ years in the beauty industry as a stylist. I loved helping others feel better by looking their best, but felt the call to a more meaningful kind of service. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, listen to music and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is I love to laugh. Humor is a wonderful way of easing tensions for seniors who are easily frustrated or embarrassed. My skills include effective communication, a positive demeanor and problem solving.
