About Julie

Except for the elderly, my work has always involved direct interactions with people having diverse needs, in a variety of situations/settings (prisons, group homes, special education programs, etc). It wasn't until 2012, when I began spending more and more time and gained more and more experience taking care of/assisting my parents that I discovered my "knack" for and enjoyment of senior based health care work. By 2013, I had obtained certifications and skills as a Health Care Tech., Personal Care Attendant, Home Health Care Aide and more. That same year I began working for an agency (Legacy) as a HHA caring for senior citizens in their homes and in Assisted Living facilities. I've been working in the field ever since! My experience includes attending to clients' ADL's (Activities of Daily Living; bathing, dressing, oral and perineal care, elimination, meals, social activities, med appts. and more)Experience with wheelchair transfers, Hoyers, med admin, catheters and much, much more!
