About Julia

Not ready to retire! I am an active lady in my 60's. I have years of paid experience as a Nurse's Aid, Home Care Worker, and Occupational Therapist, plus many more years of unpaid experience raising two daughters and helping my 92-year-old mom who lives locally. I like a part time schedule so I can spend time with my mom, help my hard working husband, and find some time for exercise! I can help with Transportation Services and Home Care. I have worked through the Dept of Human Services to provide home care to the elderly that included bathing, dressing, grooming , shopping, laundry, errands, exercising, and light cooking. I have provided transportation. I have experience with clients experiencing mental/ emotional health challenges. I can help clients follow through with their therapeutic exercise programs. I sing in my local church choir and assist in leading a program to connect home bound folks with visitors who like to listen. I enjoy interacting with people.
