I currently work at a retirement home where I mostly assist residents who suffer from dementia as well as other disabling conditions. I work mainly in the dinning room, helping residents with their food choices and making sure they eat what is best for their health. Working with these residents is one of the best jobs I've ever had. It is very rewarding to help someone who has lived through a lot and experienced so many things that I have yet to. I love just listening and I see how so many people just need someone to listen so I am more than happy to lend an ear. I also have experience with CPR from when I was a lifeguard.
