In the past, I have assisted clients with their activities of daily living, engaged in conversation, taken vital signs and maintained a clean household. I try to connect with my clients, spending time with them, going for walks and driving to shopping and appointments. Sometimes I assisted with laundry and housekeeping, depending on what the client asked for. My last client I was with for 5 years, right up until they passed.
