I am looking to provide care and companionship. I assist with daily living necessities, and Doctor appointments. Been caregiving for 5 years, my current client is moving away with family. My experience is with dementia and diabetes due to those being the current diagnoses. I'm familiar with the ups and downs of memory loss, confusion, and insecurities as it progresses as they live on. I assisted with glucose monitoring however I was not involved in the process of the meal preparation; it was always premade. I helped with household chores, running errands, distributing medications and doctor appointments. I took the client out on regular outings, to go have lunch, and shopping. I assisted him with living.
