Jodi cared for my dad for 5 years. We initially had her come in for a couple of hours a days to help him with some light housework, but his needs soon became greater, and she gradually spent more and more time with him. Jodi really took the time to get to know him and appreciate him as a person, which we greatly valued. Not only did she provide great companionship for him, but she saw to it that his physical needs were met each and every day. She made sure he ate well, was well hydrated, and she assisted him with his physical therapy. One thing that we are most grateful to Jodi for is the fact that she was so tuned in to his medical conditions that she always knew when something was not right and he needed to be seen by a doctor, or possibly even the ER. Never once was she wrong; when she had a sense about something being off, we knew that action needed to be taken. We cannot thank Jodi enough for the amazing care and friendship she gave our dad right up to the very end.
