About Joan

In providing care and companionship to seniors, including dementia care, I have developed deep and mutually enriching relationships with my clients and helped them live a happy and healthy life. Activities that we have shared, besides having meaningful conversations, include walking, hiking, singing, dancing, museums, concerts, shopping, restaurants and family gatherings. as well as the activities of daily living. My skills and experience include cooking, driving, medication supervision, bathing, shopping, organizing, scheduling, light housekeeping, personal care, errands, and companionship. I also have 17 years experience as a professional gardener and garden designer and 15 years experience as a childcare provider. I also am skilled in healthy cooking, especially plant based. I am fully vaccinated and am extremely cautious regarding Covid-19. I am also a very good listener with sincere interest in learning about my clients.
