JoAnn came into our lives a time of need like a gift from a guardian angel. I was frazzled and tired and longing for a few hours of respite a week; JoAnn was perfect! As my husband declined and he (we) needed more of JoAnn's time and care, it just seemed as if her virtues expanded to fill the void left by his dementia and fragile health. She is compassionate as well as competent, extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Joann has amazing tact and good humor. She knows just how and when to offer a creative suggestion when the need arises for problem solving. She is gracious about helping with housekeeping at a time when one may well be overwhelmed by how life changes so quickly. JoAnn knew exactly how to relate to my husband as his dementia progressed and as he became less and less mobile. She encouraged him when he was unable to do for himself and cheerfully helped him with PT and ADL's far better than I did on my own. I unreservedly recommend JoAnn as a caregiver who has no equal.
