About Jessica

Jessica was our home health aide that cared for my aunt throughout her illness. Jessica began her employment with us as comfort care while my aunt was in a rehab facility and made the transition to home and then through home hospice with her. Jessica was by my aunts side until the minute she took her last breath. Jessica was the most kind, caring and compassionate person I have ever met. Jessica was more then our aide she became part of our family. While in rehab Jessica kept my aunt company fed and washed her and made sure the facility staff did their jobs. Once we came came Jessica cared for my aunt better then I could have done myself. My aunt needed maximum assistance as she was unable to walk or even feed herself. Jessica did a wonderful job of caring for her and making her happy. Once my aunt became ill and was on home hospice Jessica had the experience and skill to help the process so much. There were times I would find her massaging my aunt while playing relaxation music for her. During our 2 year relationship with Jessica she surly became part of our family. She laughed with us and cried with us and always knew what was best for her patient. Jessica worked long hard 12 hour days and never complained or seemed tired. Even at the end of a 12 hour shift she would stop and do a sink full of dishes on her way out. In my aunts last days Jessica left her own family to spend nights here with ours to make sure she would be with my aunt during her final moments, and she was. I'm not sure if we would have made it through all of this with out her. I can not say enough good things about her but the one thing I do know is any patient she takes care of is a lucky one.
