I have 2 years of experience working as a homemaker for a non-profit. I am looking for more of a one-on-one position to help you with the myriad of responsibilities associated with caring for an older loved one. Amongst the many things I can help with are: transportation services and errands, homemaking duties and meal prep, (asleep) overnights should they be needed, Respite Care, companionship, help with grooming and dressing as well as numerous other things too long to mention. My goal is to first treat everyone with the dignity and respect that they deserve. During the time I've done this I have been amazed at how much more I have received then feel that I have given! Bringing a smile to someone's face, or sitting and talking to them, or giving them fresh sheets and making sure they're comfortable, all of these things bring me so much joy and fulfillment. It's equally important that your loved ones feel confident that you're being cared for by someone who doesn't consider it a job!
