I am an RN specializing in Oncology for 35 years. I am an experienced patient advocate. I will: 1) help you to know where to begin in understanding your disease and its treatment and how to handle it! (a lot for #1) 2) help to know what questions to ask? 3) manage and control adverse side-effects 4)disseminate information to your family and friends in plain English (understandable language) 5)help you to attain your goals. I have been honored in many ways over the years with awards and honorariums. I was on a Presidents panel re: oncology in Washington DC, where I spoke with Senators and Congressional leaders re: oncology patients and what their needs are during and after treatment (also to explain why these patients must have RNs for their treatment).
