I recently completed a 6 month, part time Companion/Care giving position with an 86 yr old woman. She and I talked of past stories and experiences. I played music for her, read to her, and we played cards and games. I made dinner for her, and did light housekeeping and laundry. I sat her outdoors and visited with her and did light yard work as she watched me. I took her to a Senior Center once a week for dinner and sat with her. I'm looking to assist a loving elderly person on a part time basis. Their safety is my top concern along with their happiness. I'm a Christian, kind, caring, and empathetic. I have a sense of humor and I'm complemented on my upbeat attitude and enthusiasm. I take my job positions very seriously being punctual and reliable. Skills: detail orientated, cooking, baking, light repairs. I'm a dog lover. I'm allergic to most cats. I'm smoke-free and drug-free. I am wanting part time, and I'm not available on Thursdays.
