When my oldest brother was diagnosed with Dementia, I took a part-time job at a local Assisted Living/Memory Care Facility so that I could learn as much about the disease and the process to help me understand how best to care for him. That was 2018 and I am still am at that Facility, even though I no longer have my brother. I also am a caregiver for a lovely woman in Broadview Heights part-time and one lady in Independence one evening per week. Helping others has always been a passion for me.
