About Jamie

Hi there! My name is Jamie. I'm 29 years old and have lived in Redlands, California for 10 years. I am a long-term caregiver, working for In-Home Support Services (IHSS) for 8 years. Throughout my employment, I have taken care of my grandfather, father, and mother; all of which had terminal or chronic illnesses. These include Parkinson's Disease, Pancreatic cancer, and Ischemic/transient ischemic strokes. During my family's care, I have worked alongside hospice nurses and in-home health aides to ensure their comfort and well-being at all times. As a caregiver for IHSS, my job duties include housekeeping, meal prep, errands/grocery shopping, grooming/bathing, and laundry. In addition to my love for caregiving and family, i'm an avid animal lover and have raised pets my entire life, particularly cats. I have a healthy, happy cat named Moja, a 12-year-old orange and white tabby who I love to bits. I have also owned parakeets, lovebirds, and goldfish, and have dogsitting experience.
