Jadwiga was hired to care for my mother who had dementia and ended up staying with my folks for 8 1/2 years. My parents lived next door to me, but working full time meant that I needed help with their care. She had originally been a care taker for the great grandmother of one of my students at school, and when she passed I was lucky enough to hire her. I would not have been able to have survived without her! My mother, who became bedridden was cared for and loved by Jagoda (Jadwiga) like her own mother. She was beautifully groomed, her food was prepared thoughtfully, her home maintained perfectly, my father and her pets were adored (as she adored my mother) - closets cleaned, laundry done, yard maintained, plants thriving - my list could go on. When mother died in 2006, my father insisted that she stay, same schedule. She remained with us until he passed in 2012. From my family, she moved on to care for my sister-in-law's dad until he passed earlier this year. Her level of care is amazing, her observation of each person's needs were so on target, there was nothing she wouldn't do. I have always felt that she extended the lives of these three people in my family. I feel akin to her like a sister an always will. I know it is difficult to bring someone into your home...but Jagoda is wonderful! LUCKY is the next family to hire her. I could go on and on - our family LOVES her.
