Isabelita took care of my mother for final years, she was with us for over four years. She always treated my mother with dignity and respect, even the last few months when my mother didn't know what was going on as well as when my mother's dementia was not so advanced. Isabelita always had my mother's best interest in mind. When Isabelita suggested we do something for my mother we did as she was always right. My mother liked to play one particular card game and Isabelita learned it and played it with my mother for as long as my mother could. Even though Isabelita had to rely on public transportation, she was still always on time. She never failed to show up without notifying us in advance. She treated my mother as if she were her own mother. I never had to worry about her being in the home alone with my mother. I would want Isabelita to take care of me.
