About Hillary

I had the privilege of living with my Grandpa while he was slipping into Alzheimer's while I attended college. I enjoy helping people which was the main motivation for acquiring my Social Work degree. While at times challenging, I loved caring for him during those years and am grateful for all of our shared time together before he passed away. As I also age, I have a deep respect for elderly people's wisdom gleaned from a long lived life and have compassion and understanding for people who have been independent for so long and now find themselves needing some help around the house. Outside of caring for my Grandpa, I have also cared for an elderly neighbor by providing meals and companionship and enjoyed doing so.
