About Heather

Worked as a live in aide for a 78yr old paraplegic woman that had pressure sores that I helped care for. I was responsible for all the grocery shopping along, planning, and preparing all meals, helping her get into and out of bed, turning her every 2 hours at night, was trained on site by our home health nurses to help attend to her pressure sores, light housework and laundry. Helping get her dressed and ready when she did have appointments to go to. The biggest part of my job was companionship I'd say my patient (kathy) and I got very close and it tore me up to have to leave there when I choose to move down to Galveston. I still talk to and have maintained a loving a cherished friendship with kathy that is unique and very dear to my heart.
