About Heather

Hello, and thank you for your time and consideration. I'm a positive and energetic mother of three. We moved to Grottoes a little over two years ago and we absolutely love it here. My experience includes raising my own children, childcare, substitute teaching, and caring for the elderly. I have cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, (some of whom have special needs), and have cared for the elderly with Dementia/Alzheimer's and cancer. I was a substitute for Fauquier and Greene County Public Schools and worked with children and teens on the autism spectrum. I believe that all children/teens have their own unique needs and some learn differently. I strongly believe in strong engagement with individuals with Dementia and/or Alzheimer's to ensure they are able to retain information and understand the importance of companionship. I am reliable, patient, and creative. With all of my experience, I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your loved ones.
