Hello! I am seeking to add a new part time client to my caregiving "family" (separately of course). My degree and background are in Early Childhood and Waldorf Education. I also have training in Asian bodywork. My first long term care client had dementia, and I provided companionship and care for her (and now her husband) for nearly six years, including playing scrabble, natural foods cooking, shopping, outings, activities- quiet at home as well as active. Since then I have provided care for a person with early onset Alzheimer's, a person with vision loss, and recently a person with Parkinson's/LBD for whom I was a guide through the maze of her health care appointments, plus cooking, massage, care and encouragement.
