About Ginger

I have been a middle school and high school teacher for the last 15 years. It has been a wonderful career while my children were in school. Now that they are grown I would really like to give my time to a generation of people I have always admired and respected. I was very close to all my grandparents my entire life and as they aged and began to need help I was always there to make sure they had what they needed but most importantly knew how much they were loved, respected and valued. I realized I had a natural ability and brought them relief and appreciation at a time in their life when they needed it most. I was with each of them clear to the end including my mother-in-law whom we lost from leukemia in her 70's. Although it was emotionally difficult to lose each one, there was an intrinsic peace knowing I was able to be there for them and give them a sense of peace too. I knew when my kids were grown I would want to devote my life to elderly care.
