I met Francisca in May 2023 when she began work as caregiver for my neighbor on my floor. I'm an internist, geriatrician and palliative care physician. In my 30 years of medical practice, I have worked with many paid caregivers of patients with dementia and patients receiving end of life care. She is the most outstanding caregiver I have ever met. I was able to observe her work on a regular basis and her calm, competent and cheerful approach never wavered. At every instance, she showed that her priority was the care of her patient.
