Hey there! My name is Emalee. I'm 29 years old going on 12+ years of healthcare experience. My love for caring for seniors came from taking care of my grandfather for 5 years. My grandfather was a complex patient- multiple strokes/TIA's, contracting, trach, you name it. From there, I worked alongside other aides in different facilities. After that, I started to focus back on the one-on-one care. The relationships I was able to build doing one-on-one care will stick with me forever! The care I provided varied from hospice, palliative care, , catastrophic care (brain/spinal cord injuries), companionships & more! I currently hold an EMT license in the state of Michigan, looking to come back to homecare.
