I have worked as a home health aid for a variety of individuals from early stages of dementia through end of life care for the past seven years. I care deeply about patient well-being and work closely with family members to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for loved ones. In my role as a home health aid, I provide companionship and deliver personal care, including help with bathing and/or dressing. I will complete meal preparation and feeding, and assist with errands and transportation to doctor appointments, as needed. I am able to organize medications and ensure exercise is conducted where needed. I am naturally nurturing and enjoy providing care for individuals in need. I spent years as a stay-at-home mother and in a variety of child care positions. I transitioned to elder care after caring for my own parents. I believe my experience and compassion will be an asset to any family seeking care for an aging family member in the home.
