About Elisabeth

I have over 30 years of experience working with the elderly and approximately 15 of those years working with people you have dementia and Alzheimer's. Including taking care of my own Mother at home for six years. I was responsible for her nutrition, happiness, safety and getting her to all appointments. I was responsible for her 24/7 six days a week. I feel I can offer a unique perspective. I understand what it's like to have a loved one who needs help and as a caregiver, I'm able to offer help. I enjoy cooking so meal prep is not difficult for me. I don't mind doing light housework as well. I love dogs, but am very allergic to cats. I need to work with someone who is able to walk at least with a cane or walker as I can't do heavy lifting. I feel it's very important to have a good line of communication between myself and the family as well.
