About Dricksa

Hi there, my name is Dricksa, and I am 29 years of age. I have been taking care of elderlies since 2017. I worked in a care home with 6 elderlies for 2 years and another care home for 7 months with 4 elderlies. After that, I decided to do one on one with patients. I cared for an 86 years old stroke patient using a tube feeding for about a year, a 93-year-old patient with mild dementia for 2yrs, and patients with Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis. I also worked at a senior living facility in Pleasanton. I have a lot of experience caring for the elderly, especially with dementia. My usual tasks are assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, meal preparation, transferring, laundry, and light housekeeping. I love all the clients I took care of, and I miss them every day. I consider them my family. It was a great opportunity to hear their life stories and learn a lot of wisdom from them. One thing I learned from them, smile while you still have teeth.
