I have been a companion caregiver for most of my life, although more as a profession for the last 10+ years. Most clients are elderly with some form of dementia/ Alzheimer's, recuperating from a hospital stay or family wishes for some respite care. I also have taken care of special needs individuals that have a range of disabilities. I have the skills to help and if I need to learn something I'm a quick learner. I'm looking more for part time or respite care. I can do from a few hours, a day or if you need a week, I may be available. I have more recent references. It is my pleasure to help families in need. Donna is very caring, she became like another family member who loved our mom. She goes above and beyond to make sure she provides safety and love as she gives care. She gives attention to detail. She was very knowledgeable about dementia and could also provide education and suggestions to us.
