About Donna

Having retired from a career in public safety that spanned 30 years, I have now chosen to pursue an avenue that I find to be tremendously rewarding. I have found working as a caregiver/companion for the elderly to be personally fulfilling. I enjoy helping those in need, be it doing light housekeeping, playing a card game, making a puzzle with them, assisting them in bathing, and seeing them smile. I have even taken on requests for one client who was in dire need of clothing for the winter, but had nothing because it needed altering. I took the items home (with her family's permission), altered the clothing, and I cannot express how happy I was to see the smile on this lady's face! She was so touched that someone would do that for her and not accept any type of compensation. My heart is very big, and I feel that I would be a great asset to an elderly person in need.
