About Dina

My name is Fernandina, but go by Dina for short. 14 years experience with the elderly, some with early onset Dementia and Alzheimer's. First job, in a nursing home feeding those who couldn't feed themselves. I enjoy older generations, their stories, and gaining their wisdom. I know bringing someone new into your home has its concerns this is why trust is very important for all involved. I've worked in homes of families where I keep the individual maintaining their Activities of Daily Living this includes bathing, eating, meal prepping, light housekeeping, Dr. appts. etc. It's my goal to help family members from pressures that these activities require. I also find it important to keep communication with the preferred point of contact, have it be by notebook, email or text.
