About Dianna

I am an upbeat, friendly, and patient mother of three (I have twins!) with two years senior-caregiving experience. I began working as a caregiver when a family friend asked me to care for her mostly wheel-chair bound mother who was living with dementia. Typical days included reading (I read my client essays, books, newspapers, personal mail), meal preparation, light house work, bathing, dressing, grooming, bathroom assistance, & I guided her through her chair-work-out routine. We took outdoor wheelchair walks. I transported my client to doctor's appointments and immunotherapy, and provided written summaries of doctor's advice to the family. I tested blood sugar levels, administered insulin shots and other medications. I mostly worked nights (slept onsite) and some days. In addition, I have professional work experience as an office manager and paralegal (I'm a detail person!) so I know how to track expenditures, medication schedules, dietary requirements, etc. I'm a good record keeper!
