About Desie

I have 13 years experience in elderly care I have worked both in facilities and privately in homes. I am current on my FIRST AID and CPR through 2018 and do courses on elder care yearly to stay up to date. There is a certain level of heart and understanding that goes into being a caretaker. I enjoy being part of someone's day and feeling appreciated beyond it just being a job. I have worked with patients with different medical issues such as dementia, stroke, Parkinson disease, cancer , and in the last stages of life on hospice. I also have experience with medical equipment including Sit to Stand andcThe Hoyer lift. I am reliable and dependable I take pride in my job and do it with care and understanding. I am currently working every Wednesday and every second Tuesday. I would looking to fill out my schedule during the week. I have worked for with multiple families and their loved ones.
