Experienced licensed medical assistant with medicine tech license as well. Available for in-home senior care. CPR, AED and First Aid certified. I have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients for 21 years in both a nursing home and assisted living facility as well as private care in the comfort of their own home. My passion is providing a safe environment for the patient and peace of mind for the family all while focusing on the patient and making them my top priority. My services are not just limited to Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have worked with fully and partially paralyzed clients using a hoyer lift as well as cancer patients. Familiar with Foley and superpubic catheters, colostomy bags, administering IV meds, IM injections, wound care and several other medical needs. If companionship is just needed, I'm also available. Playing cards, games, any sort of activity along with exercises with your loved one is always encouraged to keep the mind active.
