Before leaving for college I got the wonderful opportunity to work with Main Line Heath. Helped physicians examine and treat patients by assisting with instruments, injections and suture removal in the presents of a doctor or nurse. Coordinated with doctors and registered nurses to develop care plans for patients. although I didn't have much say I got to sit around and observe what creating a plan for a patient was all about and how communication skills between doctors and nurses is key.
