About Deisy

My experience in working with older adults was through Senior Corps. Where I managed a program that supported and trained older adults 55 and older in going back into their communities to volunteer in preschool classrooms and earn a stipen while doing so. For many it was a way of getting back out and about and making new friendships and relationships in their communities. I truly enjoyed the interactions with each of our members especially our conversations. I have been a mothers helper for many years and currently a stay at home mom working very minimal hours. Looking for a few more hours and venturing out into supporting older adults.
