I started with hospice caring for my dad 20 yrs ago. I loved the experience and continued doing it regularly. I've worked with Dementia people and learned compassion and understanding is key. Although I never received a certificate of nursing care, I helped my sister study and achieve her certificate. I have many references I can supply you with. Right now I'm a single older mom with 3 younger children living at home along with one adult child. I left a job at Valley View housekeeping to care for my ailing husband. I'd also like to add I've been in charge of giving meds, setting up weekly meds, scheduling appt and work schedules. I'd love to have the opportunity to work again with home health. The reason I'm not working right now is I have been recovering from a broken ankle due to an accident two years ago. I'm ready to get back to work. Senior care giver.
