About Deborah

Elderly care has always been a part of my life through caring for my grandparents and now my own parents who struggle with diabetes, Parkinson and dementia. I have experience in checking sugar levels, logging the levels, measuring and administering insulin and food portions. Taking my parents to doctors' appointments, communicating to the doctors, filling prescriptions, shopping, caring for my folks at different levels of dementia, laundry and housekeeping are all part of my experience. Caring for the elderly while treating them with respect and preserving their dignity is a priority for me so I enjoy doing life with them not only by helping to provide them physical care but also by companionship. Some examples are putting puzzles together, conversation, reminiscing about times past and special memories. I have experience in caring for my parents but also for two other elderly women.
