Have worked for pro heath home care and hospice for 20 years I am retired the last 1 1/2 years. Was doing private care on my own. Took care of a wonderful man who was hospice for 8 months but he went to heaven in February. I actually have been a nursing assistant almost all my life, and I loved it.

Darlene is extremely reliable. I hired her to check in on my brother twice a week for 3 hours each time after his hospitalization & skilled nursing rehab early this year. She makes sure he's taking his medications regularly & checks his vital signs. But more importantly, she encourages him to get out of the house & works on his socialization. I live out of state, and she is very good about giving me feedback on my brother's welfare. It's been a huge relief to have her as my eyes and ears. And friends & neighbors report that he appears to be more engaged & less isolating since she has been involved for the last 6+mos!
