About Dana

I have more than 10 years of experience working with families in elder care, hospice care and child-care. Currently, I'd love to find a night or early morning position for transportation reasons. My grandparents were always my favorite people. I enjoyed having the chance to care for them and be with them as life became more challenging. Two of my grandmothers had cancer and my grandfather had parkinsons. I helped with feeding tubes, oxygen, dressing, baths, and everyday care. I helped with whatever they needed help with. Except foot care. I have to admit. Foot care is the one thing I am not good at. Other than washing and drying, I'm too timid to clip the toenails of ticklish feet. I went to Clark College in 2011 to get my CNA so that I could be a Home Health Aid after working for more than 20 years as a professional nanny. From there, I worked with one local family for almost 6 years and into the final days.
