My experience with senior care, although not paid, comes from my own family experiences. I used to sit with my Grandmother many years ago. She was in the early stages of Alzheimers but unfortunately her condition deteriorated very quickly and she had to be admitted to a nursing home and she passed away soon after that. In the beginning of the year 2020 my Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers so I moved in to help take care of her. I prepared her meals, prepared and made sure she took her medication, took her to Doctor's appointments, and helped her stay as physically active as possible. She passed away in January 2021. I understand not only the physical care but also the mental care it takes to care for your own family member. I have a lot of compassion and patience for the elderly after going through my own experiences.
