I am very passionate about senior care, patient and empathetic. I'm able to provide both physical and emotional support to clients, help with meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing and dressing, bathroom assistance, companion care. In addition, transportation and housekeeping. I have had the privilege of working with two gentlemen with dementia and caring for my grandmother and mother-in-law. I was able to support the families and help those that needed extra care be as independent as possible. Often I would create charts and develop visual cues to support them. I absolutely believe it is important to honor our elderly and help them find joy and do things that are meaningful and important to them. I would spend time just doing what they enjoy.- With accommodations that would make that possible. I have a professional background and education and taught special needs students for 20 years .

We hired Cynthia to care for my father in law. She had also aided in caring for my mother in law while she was ill. Cynthia has a beautiful gift of caring for others. She is patient and filled with compassion but also able to lead in gentleness. I feel it's important to say that not all people have the ability to "give" physically, mentally and emotionally to others, specifically ones who are elderly. Caring for people is not a job for Cynthia but a gifting. She was able to find things to do to mentally stimulate my father in law and keep him physically active. In other words, she went beyond what any of the family even thought about doing. For our family, she is a God send and we certainly could not have managed without her! She is also great at communicating, always on time and respectful to our family, my father in law and our needs.
